Reason: Why Liberals Will Win the Battle for America by Robert Reich

The BuzzFlash Interview With
Robert B. Reich on the "Radcons"

Fox News Violates Public Trust!
By David VanThournout  7/24/04

I have just recently watched the disturbing documentary "Outfoxed" by Robert Greenwald.

In this documentary it is revealed just how Fox News is twisted toward the radical right wing agenda of the republican party.

I also understand that Fox is being sued for using the words "Fair and Balanced" since the Fox News is neither fair nor balanced.

I have noted to many of my friends how insidious the Fox network is since they show many liberal shows and then have the Fox News a half hour early in order to gain as much viewer ship as possible. Many people might not catch the dichotomy of the Fox liberal programming and ultra conservative "news".

Rupert Murdoch has crossed a line here. This is mental pollution. Fox Network has been revealed as nothing more than a propaganda outlet for the Republicans.

Thank you Robert Greenwald for helping us see Fox Network for what it is.

Polls have shown that 67% of Fox News viewers believe there is a connection between 9/11 and Saddam Hussein while only 16% of PBS viewers believe this (nationally, 40% of Americans believe this lie). Since this is a false belief that even President Bush has admitted is in error we wonder why it is that so many Fox News viewers have this false opinion?

This is virtual proof that Fox Network's propaganda machine is working to confuse rather than inform.

Fox Network owes it to their viewers to correct this. This is America not the Soviet Union, we want the truth not a bunch of B-LL SH-T from Bill Oreilly.

If Fox News would like to redeem themselves they should announce publicly that Saddam Hussein and 9/11 were not connected. Everyday until November 2nd.

I sincerely hope to hear that the words "Fair and Balanced" have been torn from the Fox Network News like an undeserved medal from a treasonous soldier, because that is what they are. The airwaves are a public trust. Our Democracy depends upon fairness and accuracy in our media to remain healthy. To violate the objectivity of journalism in America is simply un-American. Although Joseph Goebbels would certainly be proud.

With Robert Greenwald's "Outfoxed" as evidence of Fox's treason I don't see how Rupert Murdoch's media empire can retain the false image of being "Fair and Balanced" for much longer.
